  1. Alex,

Hey my name is Alyssa Reddig and I'm from Kansas and I just wanted to let you know I am a huge fan of yours. I am so upset that you were eliminated tonight on American Idol. I was truly looking forward to hearing many more songs from you on the show and I am so disappointed! I just love your voice so much. It is so unique and different but different in a good way. I normally don't cry from watching the show, well at least I never have this early on in the show, but I cried tonight. I wish you all the success in the world and I will be rooting for you all the way!

  2. I think that you sounded amazing, and you were showing confidence. There is EVERYTHING wrong with America thinking you shouldn't stay, but I believe you should 100%, even if that means nothing! <3

  3. So nice, so cute, such a good singer, can't believe he got eliminated from American Idol, so unfair, the show will not be as good anymore... I will no longer watch it! BIG MISTAKE to eliminate him! He was the best!

  4. Alex,
My heart went out to you tonight…you were my favorite of all the guys and to see you go home was really crushing. What a courageous man you are though. You always listened to the judges critiques with such poise and respect and you came across as a genuinely great guy with such a soulful, distinct voice.
The thing I like about you Alex, is how vulnerable and passionate you were. It came across whenever Ryan talked to you and especially when you are singing. It just made you so endearing to my heart and the thousands of people that voted for you.

The problem is that the show has you vote for the people you want to stay vs. the people you want to leave. If America was told to vote for who they wanted to be eliminated, the votes wouldn’t have been split in so many directions and you would still be on the show, I have no doubt.

I’m looking forward to seeing you on Ellen tomorrow. I am a huge fan of yours musically, and personally, you just seem like such a sweet, sensitive guy. I hope that this will have opened not only a few doors for you, but huge flood-gates and people in the recording business were watching.

Again, great job. I was so glad have heard you every week and I’m still rooting for you–American Idol or not!

  5. Idol gets a little frustrating for me and your one of the reasons why! You should have been one of the twelve. I hope this exposure will open some doors for you because I'll be really disappointed if I don't get the oppurtunity to hear you again.
In the famous words of Simon "That said" get your hair styled....with a really good stylist. Its one of those things that you can go on stage with that you don't have to think about but it can give you an edge of interest. Your a great looking kid so step it up everywhere you can! I am so disappointed that your not going to be there next week! Keep working on it!

  7. I am praying you are able to come back somehow. This is just horrible! I just KNOW you would've grown so much confidence if you were just kept on a few more weeks! C'mon American Idol....BRING ALEX BACK!!!

  8. Keep plugging Alex, and be exactly who you want to be. There are those of us who don't need a flashy glammed up performance ( example Adam Lambert) I really appreciated your honest, soulful beautiful voice.. And I LOVE the mullet, you are unique and special. I totally concur with many of the above comments. I'm not one to cry over AMerican Idol, but I was truly sad to see you go( and okay- I cried)..Can't WAIT to see what your future holds, hopefully we will be hearing a lot more from you! - Best of Luck Alex..
